The pot is a 568ml (1 pint) heavy duty aluminium glue pot which has good heat transfer properties, but without the problems of contaminating the glue with rust as with the cast iron pots. This pot can be heated over almost any conventional heat source including gas rings and electric rings. The handles are fitted with an insulating sleeve.
